Dukes Meadows Trust Community Garden Project

Volunteers from Dukes Meadows Trust initially took part in a garden design class run by Hounslow adult education services and this was the starting point for development of a Community Garden. The garden, situated next to the DMCA hall on Alexandra Gardens, offers the local community a tranquil, colourful garden and a pond currently full of tadpoles!

There is seating to allow local residents who may not have a garden of their

own, to spend a quiet afternoon in the sun with their families. There are also five mini allotment plots to enable flat dwellers to grow their own food and get some wholesome exercise.
